In our lives, Marian and I have been privileged to see some wonderful things.
Years ago, when we were on a car trip, rather than a canoe trip, we took a walk along the trail in Petroglyphs Provincial Park, north of Peterborough. We walked in to see a falls that was mentioned, and it was indeed worth the walk. They were very nice. But, on the walk out, as we talked of the Bridal Veil Falls on the Lady Evellyne River, and others, we began to realize we had seen some striking places, that others will never see.
We saw them, because, in each case, we made the journey. The journey’s were not easy; they had obstacles of wind and wave, bugs and portages, long paddles and quick waters. But, if we had stopped at the obstacles, we would not have made those discoveries. You can see one discovery, made while snowshoeing at Tiny Marsh, this winter.
God invites us to reason with Him; He invites us to go deeper, into a journey of discovery. What will you find? How can I tell you? It will be a discovery, not something either of us can predict.
Dear friends, make the journey; go deeper with God; you will not be sorry.
